What Matters to Us: Supporting Animal Welfare
At La Jaquette, animal welfare is a cause that is especially close to our hearts.
Beyond our commitment to a more local approach to fashion and greater care in the way we select and use materials, we also want, in our own way, to support those who work every day to improve the lives of abandoned or rescued animals.
€1 donated with every order
For every order placed with La Jaquette, €1 is dedicated to supporting animal welfare in France.
This contribution allows us to regularly support organisations working directly in the field, particularly with food, veterinary care and shelter for animals in need.
In December 2020, thanks to your orders, we were notably able to make a donation to Chats des Rues, an organisation that helps rescued cats by providing food and care.
In this way, every order contributes, in its own way, to supporting a cause that means a great deal to us.
Why this cause matters to us
Welcoming an animal into your life is a long-term commitment.
Shelters and animal welfare organisations play an essential role in caring for abandoned, lost or mistreated animals. They provide medical care, a safe environment and, whenever possible, a new home.
At La Jaquette, we believe that everyone can help in their own way: through a donation, volunteering, fostering an animal or simply sharing the work of these organisations.
Adopting responsibly
Adopting an animal is an important decision.
Before welcoming one into your home, it is essential to consider the time, budget, space and attention you will be able to give throughout its life.
When adoption is possible and suited to your circumstances, choosing a shelter or animal welfare organisation can also give a second chance to an animal waiting for a family.
An animal is neither an impulse gift nor an object: it is a companion that requires time, care and long-term commitment.
Other ways to help
You do not need to make a large donation to support animal welfare.
You can also help by giving some of your time to an organisation, becoming a foster family, donating supplies or food, or sharing adoption campaigns and shelter needs.
Every gesture matters when it is part of a sincere and ongoing commitment.
A small gesture with every order
We are happy to link every La Jaquette order to a contribution supporting animal welfare.
In our own way, we hope to help improve the well-being of those who are dear to us: our animal companions.
